Fruit Baskets - Our Specialty!

This is an example of a basket created specifically for a customer with their idea brought to fruition. This basket contained tons of unique product including a ham!

Cascio's has been making baskets since its inception.  The stories about how the Christmas basket business was conducted in the early years are pretty entertaining.  For years the Cascio family actually delivered the majority of baskets to recipients on Christmas eve.  They would be out as a family until midnight being sure that people got their fruit basket as a Christmas gift.  Baskets that didn't get to the intended receiver on Christmas eve would then be delivered on Christmas morning.  Can you imagine? Personally, I am glad that practice got changed over the years.

One of the most common questions I answer is what is your price range and while baskets start at 15.95 they go to whatever you want to spend and the sky really is the limit.  The basket I am showing you on this page is a good example of that.  The customer for this basket provided us with a Honey Baked Ham and wanted a basket that represented everything you needed to make Christmas dinner.  There are potatoes, asparagus, all the ingredients for baked apples, wine, and even tea towels in this basket.  It weighed a ton!  But wow, it sure was pretty.  

Over the years we have added nearly everything you can think of to our baskets from comic books for kids and movies to cigarettes and beer.  If we can fit it into the container you choose we can add it to your basket.  

Some of the staff in our basket room have been making baskets for close to 20 years.  They are experts.  If you are looking for a gift for someone and want it to be extra special, call us.  We do try to have baskets available for folks who walk through the door and need a gift on the run, but we do our best work when you call ahead.
