I thought I would take a second today and discuss another gift giving option for the holiday!  One of the most asked questions is do we do fruit and vegetables in the same basket and the answer to that is unfortunately no.  We still wrap all of our baskets in cellophane and heat is generated under the cellophane. The combination of fruit and veggies is not good in this environment, therefore, we do them separately.  In the basket I am showing you here you have all the fixings for an Italian dinner.  Pasta, sauce, cheese, and a full salad including the dressing is included in this basket.  Perfect for a family.  If you bring in a bottle of wine, it is a perfect addition to this basket.

Wrapped Boxes

19.95 (half peck) and 27.95 (full peck)

The wrapped boxes is a throw back to our past.  This was always one of the favorite baskets in years past and as time moved on more and more people opted for a wicker basket.  But don't discredit how nice a gift is when it is presented this way.  Many people want to send a gift to nurses at a nursing home to thank them for the care they give a loved one.  Who gets to keep the basket when it is empty?  Wouldn't you rather put your money into the food that is actually consumed?  That is where these baskets come into play.  They are full to the bottom.  The 19.95 is actually a half peck of food and then all of the additional fruit we put on the top. The 27.95 is a full peck and everything we add to the top. These baskets are an excellent value!  

One last thing to remember when you are ordering from Cascio's.  We can add nearly anything to your basket.  People bring us things all the time to include in their gift.  All kinds of things.......trust me on this....I am not going into the details........
