Baked Pasta

1# of pasta (farfalle or rotini work best)
1# of hamburger
1/2# of pepperoni
1/4 c. of green pepper chopped
1/4" c. of onion diced
hot banana pepper diced (optional if you don't like this)
garlic to taste
1 jar of favorite spaghetti sauce
2 c. of mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. of parmesan cheese

cook pasta and set aside
Brown hamburger adding onion, garlic, pepper and hot banana pepper. (Add banana pepper to your personal taste remove if you don't like or add if you do. Judge how much according to your flavor preferences.)
After hamburger is browned add jar of sauce and heat through.

Begin layering in 9x13 or a larger more shallow pan of your choice.

First add a layer of pasta, top with hamburger mixture, top that with parmesan cheese, add a layer of pepperoni, a layer of mozzarella cheese, a layer of sauce, keep alternating layers and finish with last of sauce and top with a thick layer of cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes at 350. Remove foil and bake uncovered for 5 minutes. This is an easier alternative to lasagna and very good. Feel free to add any ingredients you enjoy. This recipe can't be ruined, it is simple!

I froze this and sent it to college with my son, it was a huge hit!  But if it is thawed you need to add to the baking time. He had to bake at around an hour and then uncover and finish.
